Another reason Abbeys is awesome.

So I'm in Sydney and of course no visit to Sydney is complete without a visit to Abbeys bookshop in York St. Their crime section is huge.

I wanted a book (in a bookshop -no way) but couldn't remember the author or title.

I could however remember that it was a first novel by a NZ author, it was on the kiwi bestseller lists,but it was too new to a have been nominated for the ngaio marsh award. I could also remember where I heard about it.

Annabel was able to able to track it down for me (the fallen by Ben sanders) & find me the oz publication date (mid sept).

Subsequently my to be read pile has increased - as has the weight of my suitcase.
